Vermeil gold is a technique, where gold, in our case 24K gold is applied to 925 sterling silver. Compared to gold plating, Vermeil Gold requires a thicker layer that must be above 2.5 microns. This technique creates a finish that is five times thicker than average gold plating, and far more durable. Pieces can be in solid gold on request.
To Keep your Vermeil Gold jewelry looking its best, we recommend storing it in a jewelry box or pouch when not in use. Avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals, perfumes, or excessive moisture. For cleaning, use a soft cloth and gentle cleaner polishing cloth on your gold vermeil pieces, ensuring it is clean and dry. For Emeralds, be sure to buff the stone dry with a clean, soft cloth. Taking proper care of your favourite piece will stand the test of time.
A simple way is to take a thin string of paper, wrap it around your finger and mark with a pen where one end of the paper meets the other. Then line the string paper against a ruler and read off the measurement.
Use a string paper and wrap it around the knuckles including the thumb knuckle. Note the measurement at the point of overlap. This is your exact hand circumference/size:
